:
- Handling daily purchasing activities.
- Ensure on time delivery of materials to meet production requirement.
- Responsible for excess & obsolete material disposition.
- Responsible for company inventory and control stock level.
- Handles the purchasing of goods following established procedures and policies
- Forecast & planning, source, qualify and negotiate with suppliers to fulfill proposal and project
- Assist to manage supplier relations and maintenance of diversity of suppliers;
- Stock management and monitoring.
- Perform cost reduction.
- Prepare monthly purchase records.
- Perform administrative function such as issuance and checking of Purchase Order, Purchase Requisition, Inventories & etc.
- Implement re-schedule programs with suppliers if needed
- Locates and develops new sources of supply through various levels of contacts with suppliers and potential suppliers
- Directs/secures and analyses price quotation
- Negotiates with suppliers for replacement of rejected/shortage material or reimbursement
Requirements
:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the Inventory management/ Purchasing management
- Applicants must possess good leadership to control a group of supply chain team in carrying out daily supply chain activities.
- Good sourcing, communication an negotiation skills
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Full-Time positions available at Kuala Lumpur.
